355. ELGIN - Biblical Garden

This garden is believed to be the largest biblical garden in Europe, possibly the world.
It is planned that every plant mentioned in the bible will be grown in this garden.
There are plaques describing the plants and the relevant parts in the bible.
At the entrance there is a statue of a family beside a large bible. Figures representing scenes from the bible are placed throughout the garden, these are just a few.

The figure of Christ is visible from most parts of the garden
but at times one has to move and look for Him. That's life too!!

The Prodigal Son
The son is on the left running, father on the right reaching out.
Can you spot the mistake the makers made with these statues?

In the foreground the scene shows Jesus and the woman at the well.
In the background the scene is of the shepherd with the lost sheep.

The Father is always close to Jesus and so are those that believe.
